65 Square

Hey all, this is my 65 type 3 Squareback rat. I brought it for 1500, nice sun faded paint, rust here and there and a going motor! I never bothered to get it a warrant of fitness as in new zealand it would have cost me too much to sort everthing at the time.. I painted the steelies, got it lower and added the roof rack and lantern and used it daily for a year before I had to sell to move overseas, anyway heres some pictures:

I wish I could find something like that around here. I never see them. I had to steel a pic of it for my VW photo file collection.

nice square, when are you going to paint the bonnet?
70 model year is the cross over year, so has the early dash top, no vents in rear pillars

love the 356 steels on the bay, dont see them that often anymore...?

Cheers bro! They were temp tyres, any 15 inch ones will fit, best shit ever... went down to the wreakers and got a full set for a 20 and the two sitting on the car lastest a year!!
